Ultimate Tribute(TM) Thursdays - The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!
It's that time again!!! It's Ultimate Tribute(TM) Thursdays!!! What's an Ultimate Tribute? Here's a quick recap: An Ultimate Tribute is the highest honor that fans of stuff, like us, can pay to our favorite things! Some of the Ultimate tributes will be by Le Cram, while others will be done by Le Cram's friends/associates. Le Cram also invites you, the Le Cramites to submit Ultimate Tributes, and if the Le Cram staff likes them, they may get published on Le Cram's! The submission guidelines are as follows. 1.) Ultimate Tributes must be done on a sheet of notebook paper that has been yanked out of your "Trapper Keeper". 2.) Only a number two pencil may be used.
3.) All Ultimate Tributes must conform to the basic layout of the first Ultimate Tribute. 4.) Scan at a resolution of 150PPI in the JPEG format, and email to: lecram3000@gmail.com . It's that simple!
And now, Ultimate Tribute Thursdays are back!!! This is our second guest Ultimate Tribute! And it's for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation's "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!" It was done by Le Cram's friend and follower David Milano!!! Nice work, David. It is apparent that you love "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!" David's first Ultimate Tribute was for Walt Disney Productions "Tron".

Brian Wilson's "Let's go away for awhile"
Has there ever been a more beautiful song written than "Let's go away for awhile", from Brian's first solo album Pet Sounds (Yes, his first solo album. Read some Beach Boys history, and you'll understand the statement)? Even after the countless times Le Cram has heard this song, Le Cram is still sometimes surprised by the beauty of it. Also, Le Cram wants to congratulate Brian on his 2013 Grammy win for "Smile Sessions". Way to go Brian (and Van Dyke Parks)!!!

Ernest Borgnine 1917 – 2012
Le Cram heard the sad news from Chonguy that one of our favorite actors had passed, the Great Ernest Borgnine. Le Cram has enjoyed Mr. Bornine in many roles, but one film in particular is very close to Le Cram's heart. Ernest Borgnine as Harry Booth in "The Black Hole" from Walt Disney Productions in 1979. This is one of Le Cram's favorite childhood films, but Le Cram still loves it very much as an adult. It's arguably the most important Sci-Fi film of all time.
If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor. It was put out on DVD a few years ago in a beautifully restored wide screen print.
Another great thing about the "Black Hole" is that it resulted in two different Ernest Borgnine action figures!!! A small one similar in size to the "Star Wars" and "Adventure People" figures that were popular at the time. Lets take a look at the small one first.
And next the larger size figure that was comparable in size to the "Mego" brand figures. Le Cram thinks they were about 10-12 inches in height.
Le Cram had the smaller size figures. They were good toys but the hands all snapped off.
You will be missed Ernest Borgnine.

Much ado about Mustaches
Le Cram thinks this one speaks for itself. So without further ado...
So what this is is an illustration showing several different mustache styles that were worn by some of our favorite personalities. Hope you enjoy.
This is a drawing, not a collage of photographs. Enjoy.
Mustaches.
This was a review of mustaches.

LeCram's Favorite Adventure People Toys
The other day, Chonguy and I were talking about great times in our lives. We both agreed that the happiest and bestist times of our lives, were the times spent with the Adventure People. The Adventure People, from Fisher Price, turned back yards into a world of adventure. Swimming pools became the ocean, where you could help a xxxxxx rescue team xxxx save some stranded fishermen, or some Aqua-Scienticians study dolphins. A mud puddle becomes a swamp, where a team of dirt-bikers show their stuff. From desert patrols, to TV news teams, The Adventure People dit it all. This Chon's favorite was the Sky Diver with parachute. Le Cram's favorite was the Jungle Explorers. What great times we had!
Sincerely,
Le Cram (Signature)

Clowns and Calculations, or Clownculations.
Sometimes when Le Cram is at work, he gets bored and stuff like this happens. When Le Cram looked down the other day at this paper that Le Cram was doing some calculations on, he (Le Cram) got a chuckle out of seeing this clown in the middle of a bunch of math. Le Cram almost didn't remember drawing the clown. Maybe Le Cram was "day dream drawing". A few days later Le Cram was at work and saw the same sheet of paper with another clown on it!!! It turns out that one of Le Cram's work chums had been inspired to do his own clown!!! Drawing clowns is fun!!! Unless you are a smelly bloop monster. Bloops are so grotesque and lame, that they don't like clowns. Anyway, enjoy.

Le Cram thought everyone would also enjoy seeing the bleed through that was on the next sheet, so here it is:
